Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. International Relations

Founded in 1995, “Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. International Relations” is an academic journal specializing in the study of modern theory and practice of international relations.

The growing turbulence and rising instability in international relations requires novel approaches to examine world processes and foreign policies of countries. The diversity of opinion and independent thinking comprise a prerequisite for forming theoretical concepts and practical recommendations in the field of international relations.

The mission of the Journal is to accumulate and disseminate new knowledge, foster ground-breaking research findings in the area of international relations and promote a comprehensive study of particular regions and countries.

“Vestnik of Saint Petersburg University. International Relations” is a quarterly journal.

The Journal is included in the list of the leading refereed academic journals and periodicals recommended by the Higher Attestation Committee at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, assigned for publication of the key results of doctoral dissertations (including the both Russian doctoral degrees: the PhD and the Doctor of History) in specialties 5.5.4. International relations, global and regional studies (political sciences), 5.6.7. History of international relations and foreign policy (historical sciences).
