Европа и Россия в посткоронавирусном мире

Статья посвящена анализу взаимодействия между такими центральными феноменами науки о международных отношениях, как баланс сил и международные институты, на примере развития Европейского союза (ЕС) и отношений «Россия — ЕС» в условиях меняющегося глобального контекста, катализатором чего стала пандемия коронавируса в 2020 г. Изменение баланса сил и его значения в развитии институтов сотрудничества на региональном и глобальном уровнях ведет, по мнению автора, к необходимости переоценки возможностей институционального взаимодействия и устойчивости институтов как таковых. Отношения России и ЕС после завершения холодной войны развивались (с точки зрения основной теоретической парадигмы автора) в рамках попыток включения России в баланс сил, лежащий в основе европейской интеграции. Современные тенденции указывают на относительное снижение важности этой проблемы в контексте реализации основных интересов России и ведущих государств ЕС, что в перспективе может позволить им движение к более устойчивому общеевропейскому порядку, который в меньшей степени будет зависеть от собственно двусторонних отношений «Россия — Европейский союз» и в большей — от интересов обоих игроков в широком глобальном окружении.
