Формирование нового образа России в прессе Запада с 2014 по 2019 г.

Аннотация

Статья посвящена анализу образа России в западной прессе за последние шесть лет — с 2014 по 2019 гг. Автор объясняет главные факторы, которые влияют на восприятие страны в журналистике США и Европы, а также выявляет пять семантических шаблонов, в рамках которых Россия изображается на страницах западных изданий. Во-первых, ее считают «ревизионисткой державой», во-вторых — «глобальной угрозой», в-третьих — «авторитарной страной», в-четвертых — «агрессором на постсоветском пространстве», и наконец, в-пятых — «инициатором новой холодной войны». Все вышеперечисленные схемы  задают тон публикациям о России в американских и европейских СМИ и влияют на ее восприятие, о чем свидетельствует количественный и качественный анализ статей и колонок, опубликованных в американской и европейской прессе с января 2014 г. по декабрь 2019 г. С другой стороны, действия России на международной арене подтверждают опасения западных СМИ и приводят к формированию новых или укреплению старых представлений о стране. Не стоит также забывать, что имидж страны зависит от множества других факторов — внешне- и внутриполитического, информационно-редакционного и идеологического, а также исторического. Личность политического лидера тоже является важным аспектом, так как в прессе президента России Владимира Путина и других его предшественников часто отождествляют со всей страной в целом. Новизна данной статьи заключается в том, что автор проводит классификацию стереотипов о России, возникших после 2014 года, и систематизирует их.
